# Attach AP2 mandate linkage (seller)

> Stores the AP2 mandate references for this receipt: the cart mandate hash that references this receipt's URL and termsHash, and the intent mandate reference. AP2 defines authorization and audit; it assigns no liability and resolves no disputes. The clearing verdict engine is that layer, and this linkage joins the two records.
