# Get a clearing receipt (public)

> Returns the canonical agreement receipt, its current state, and the public event timeline. Keyless by design (free-surface rule): buyer agents fetch this to verify the termsHash before paying. While the receipt is OFFERED the x402 paymentRequirements block is included.
